Want to keep cool all summer?
Missing the ice already?

Due to popular demand, we are running a Summer Skate Camp during the school holidays for 5 days of fun-times.

Your morning will include 30 mins of structured class, followed by 30 mins of supervised training time...
..where our coaches will be on hand to help with any further questions students may have.

PLUS 1 hour of FREE ice-skating.

At the end of the week, the students will learn an ice-skating routine comprising of what they have learned & they will receive a certificate of completion.

We are following the skill-level guidance by Skate UK. Do not worry if you are not sure about your child(s) level, we will move them to an alternate group should this be best for the child.

Beginners (Skate UK 1-2)
Learn & master the fundamentals of skating

  • Basic forwards and backwards skating
  • Stopping safely
  • Gliding on two feet in a straight line and a curve
     

Intermediate (Skate UK 3-5)
Develop more power and balance

  • One-foot glides
  • Pushing correctly
  • Forward edges
  • Forward’s crossovers
  • Simple turns

Upper-Intermediate (Skate UK 6-8)
Start learning more advanced skills

  • One-foot turns
  • Backwards crossovers
  • Backward edges
  • Begin spinning
     

Advanced (Skate UK Passport and beyond)
Taking your skating to the next level

  • Sequences of steps
  • Twizzles
  • Jumps
  • Advanced Spins
