General Bookings T&Cs
- If you change your mind straight after making your booking, you have 60 mins to request a full refund or request changes.
- If you give us more than 72 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we’ll gladly issue you a full refund, or the total-booking-value in vouchers or reschedule your booking.
- If you give us more than 48 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we’ll gladly issue you the total-booking-value in vouchers / reschedule your booking.
- If you give us less than 48 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we will offer you a 50% refund or vouchers. But cannot reschedule your booking.
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice by email will result in a 100% forfeit of your booking, with no refund or rescheduling due.
- Please note, a booking may be rescheduled no more than 2 times – after that the booking is forfeited
Adult Package T&Cs
- If you wish to cancel more than 4 x weeks before your booking, we will happily refund your deposit minus a £100 cancellation fee (excludes XXXMas period). During our XXXMas period, we will happily refund 50% of your deposit and offer to transfer the remaining to another date in January.
- If you give us 2 - 4 x weeks’ notice of cancellation, we will retain 50% of the deposit & cancel your booking (excludes the XXXMas period).
- During our XXXMas period, your total balance is due 4 x weeks prior to your booking. On all XXXMas packages, we will retain 50% of your total booking & offer to move 50% to another date in January. No refund will be given.
- If you cancel within 2 x weeks of your booking, we will cancel your booking & retain 100% of the deposit. You will also be charged 50% of the remaining balance. During our XXXMas period, there are no refunds & no transfers. 100% of the booking is forfeited.
Change of Date
- If you request to postpone more than 4 x weeks before your booked date, we will move the date with no extra charges, subject to the new booking date being within 30 days of your original date. Additional fees may apply should the new date be more than 30 days.
- If you request postponement within 2-4 weeks of the booking date, we will retain 50% of the pre-paid deposit & apply a £5 per person admin fee.
- If you request postponement within the 2-week period running up to your event date, you will lose 100% of your pre-paid deposit & will be charged a £10 per person late change fee.
- You will be asked to pay again to secure the new date.
- Please note that a booking may be rescheduled no more than 2 times – after that, the booking is forfeit.
- We cannot guarantee changes can be made to your booking.
Amends
- Food &/ or activity orders must be finalised 2 weeks prior to your date and cannot then be amended.
- Changes specifically to food pre-orders with less than 2 x weeks but more than 72 hours' notice before your booking date cannot be refunded but may be transferred to drinks credits.
- Ordered food will be served, regardless of no-shows. No refunds or drinks credits will be given.
- Our kitchen team run a 1000-capacity venue. We ask that you be mindful when making amends and try to coordinate them with the deadlines given to you by our bookings team. Failing to adhere to these deadlines may affect our flow of service. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests.
Exceptional Circumstances
- QUEENS will not be held responsible for exceptional weather conditions, suspension of travel or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control & no such circumstances will be considered grounds for cancellation or date change without charges.
- If you have pre-ordered & pre-paid for food at your event & you either cancel or postpone, you will still be required to consume/collect the food items. Therefore, if you wish to move your booking to the following year, only the activity value (e.g. bowling/skating/darts/curling) will be carried over, & your food value will be forfeited.
Event Bookings & Private Hires
- All event bookings & Private Hires are only confirmed when we have a signed contract from you, & an agreed deposit as a % of your total booking cost.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
- A minimum £1000 holding deposit amount is required to take the availability offline while your contract is in progress.
- Upon receiving your signed contract + £1,000 holding deposit you then have 5 working days to complete full deposit amount. This amount will be 50% of the event total.
- We will send you an email to confirm your event upon receipt of full deposit amount and a signed contract to accept these terms.
- The remaining balance for your event (inclusive of all food and drink pre-orders, and service charge) is due two weeks prior to the event *Four weeks for Full Venue Hires and event that take place in our Christmas period.
- Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date agreed may result in your event being cancelled.
CANCELLATIONS:
- If you wish to cancel more than four weeks before your event, we will refund your full deposit.
- If you give us between two- and four-weeks’ notice of cancellation, we will retain the deposit and cancel your event.
- If you cancel with two weeks or less notice, we will cancel your booking, retain the deposit and charge you for the outstanding balance. This will be charged to the card used to secure the booking or invoice to your company, depending on the payment method you agree with us when you made the booking.
CHANGE OF DATE:
- If you request to postpone more than four weeks before your event is taking place, we will happily move your booking with no extra charges subject to the new event date taking place within 30 days. Should the postponement date be more than 30 days additional fees may apply.
- If you request postponement between two- and four-weeks’ of the event date, we will retain 50% of the pre paid deposit and apply a £250 admin fee.
- If you request postponement within the 2 week period running up to your event date, you will lose 100% of your pre-paid deposit and charged £500 late change fee. You will and be asked to pay again to secure a new date.
Exceptional Circumstances
- QUEENS is not liable for disruptions caused by extreme weather, travel suspensions, changes in government regulations, or other events outside of our control. These will not qualify for a cancellation or full refund. We are committed to working with you and will gladly offer a complimentary date transfer within a 3-month period. Please note that food and drink orders may not be transferrable, but we will always strive to find the best resolution.
- If you have pre-ordered and pre-paid for food at your event and you either cancel or postpone, you will still be required to consume/collect the food items. Therefore if you wish to postpone your booking to next year only the Activity value (e.g: bowling/skating/curling) will be carried over to the new event date and your food value will be forfeited.
Changes to Your Event & Pre-Orders:
- We cannot always guarantee changes can be made to your booking.
- Any amendments to your guest numbers and pre ordered items must be sent to your event organiser no later than 2 weeks prior your event date.
- Guest drop outs are sometimes expected however we are unable to amend orders once they are finalised with the kitchen team 2 weeks prior.
- Changes to pre-orders that are made with less than 2 weeks, but more than 72 hours notice cannot be refunded, but can be transferred into drinks credits.
At the Event:
- If the event turns out to be a promoted event and/or tickets are sold without written approval in advance of the event, then we have the right to close that event before or on the day without notice or liability and deposits will not be refunded.
- Any unnecessary damage caused to the venue or equipment by your party will be charged for at cost price for the item and labour for any fittings.
- Please note we currently charge £40 per pair of shoes and £60 per bowling ball that goes missing.
- Prepaid balances, including bar tabs, are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please ensure the full balance is spent at your event. While leftover food can be taken home, drinks cannot be removed from the venue.
- Keeping our guests and team safe is our highest priority. We’re committed to thorough cleaning practices, including nightly UV-C light sterilization and high-quality disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces. Plus, hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the venue for everyone’s peace of mind.
- If you need any pre-event documentation, like risk assessments, please request this well ahead of time to allow us ample preparation.
Kids Party Ts & Cs
- The final balance is due 2 x weeks prior to your booking.
- Pre-orders are required for all kids, regardless of the party size.
- Your pre-order is due no later than 2 x weeks prior to your party date.
- We understand that booking amendments may need to be made from time to time, so you have up to 2 weeks prior to your booking to finalise your orders.
- Amend requests made within 2 x weeks of the party date are non- transferable.
Changes to Your Booking
- Changes to your booking must be made at least 2 x weeks prior to your party.
- Changes to your booking cannot be made within 2 weeks of the party date.
- Changes are subject to diner and lane availability.

- Over 18s Policy: QUEENS & MEATliquor are 18+ venues from 8 pm every day. The last under-18 entry is at 7 pm.
- If you wish to cancel your booking, we require at least 2 x weeks’ notice to issue a full refund.
- Cancellation requests made within the 2 x weeks of the party are non- refundable but transferable to another date (within 1 month), subject to booking availability.
- Cancellation requests made within 1 x week of the party date are non- refundable & non-transferable.
- All food & drinks are provided by MEATliquor.
- All chicken is Halal.
- Candles & sparklers are strictly forbidden, including birthday cakes.
- You must supervise your kids at all times throughout the venue.
- Your total party size must include all spectating guests. We request a maximum of 1 x adult per 5 x kids.
Vaping & Smoking & Candles
- QUEENS is a no-vaping & no-smoking venue. Candles & sparklers are strictly forbidden, including birthday cakes.
Arriving At QUEENS
- Please have a copy of your booking confirmation displayed on your phone on arrival.
- Quote the booked activity & your full name to our Host.
- Please be on time, or you might miss your game/session.
- Please ensure you arrive together to avoid delays or missing your start time.
- Please follow the Host’s directions & keep an eye out for floor markings & signage.
- Guests booked in advance take priority to ensure a safe & controllable number of guests in the venue at all times. Please check with us in advance if you want to change your party size.
- We have brought back the £1 spectator charge for activity guests – please ensure you are booking for your total party size.
- Please do not assume we will have space for additional guests on the day – we may not!
- Over 18s: Every day, QUEENS & MEATliquor are an 18+ venue from 8 pm. The last under-18 entry is at 7 pm.
Accessibility Policy
- Our Accessibility Policy is 25% off the activity price from Wednesday to Sunday. Monday & Tuesday are already discounted.
- Carers are welcome to attend free of charge when accompanying someone in their care.
- We do not currently have a wheelchair lift.

Bowling FAQs
Please take the time to read your confirmation email ahead of your journey to QUEENS & ask one of the team if you have ANY questions.
How Long Is A Bowling Session?
Your bowling time is 10 minutes per person. Our cleaning teams have time between sessions to do their thing. You may not continue your bowling into their cleaning time.
Can We Input Names On The Bowling Screen?
We use the names you added to the guestlist section of your booking on your bowling screen, so you best get it right then! Get in touch if you need to make changes, as they may not be possible on the day.
Do I Have To Hire Bowling Shoes At QUEENS?
No, you can be comfortable in your own footwear – so long you are not wearing high-heels without their rubber heel tips/ top pieces.
What Size Bowling Shoes Do You Have?
Our FREE-to-hire classic bowling shoes are sized from a Junior size 3, Ladies’ 4 all the way up to Men’s 14.
Can I Book 2 Consecutive Games Of Bowling?
Yes, however, you will also need to purchase a £10 MEATliquor credit per person for food &/or drink, redeemable at MEATliquor Queensway on the day of your booking.

The rink will be periodically closed throughout the day to ensure the best skating surface & clean all touchpoints for your safety.
When Will The Ice Rink Be Closed For Cleaning & Resurfacing?

What Size Ice Skates Are There?
We have the classic single blade from infants’ size 4 to men’s size 14. We also have some strap-on double-blade skates for toddlersice-skating page.
Do You Have Skate Aids?
We have a handsome flock of penguins available for hire. These are for children up to 1.4m tall and cost £6 per hour. You cannot pre-book our skate aids, so please make sure you p-p-p-pick up a penguin as soon as you arrive.
How Long Does An Ice-Skating Session Last?
Ice-skating sessions last at least 1 hour from your booking start time. If your session is interrupted for cleaning or ice surface maintenance, you can return to the ice after the short interruption.

What If My Group Size Doesn’t Match The Ones Shown?
Bookings should be for groups of 6, 5, or 4. Smaller groups will need to book a slot for 4. Still doesn’t fit the bill? Get in touch!

Is Your Chicken Halal?
Yes – our chicken is Halal.
Are Dogs Welcome?
Yep, & we love to see your furry babies. We ask that you keep your pets near you at all times & be considerate of other customers. Our management team reserves the right to deny entry if your dog is inappropriately behaved & levy up to £500 fine if your dog soils the space.
Are Kids Welcome?
Yep! & we have special menus for kids. The last under-18 entry is at 7 pm – QUEENS & MEATliquor are 18+ from 8 pm. The Liquor Lanes are 18+ only.
Curling FAQs
Do I Need To Wear Special Shoes?
Flat shoes are essential, and we have FREE over-shoe ice grips that slip on over any flat shoe.
What Should I Wear?
This is an on-ice experience so wear something warm, like you would for ice-skating.
Can My Kids Curl?
Curling at QUEENS is for over 18s only.
How Many Of Us Can Curl At One Time?
Curling can be booked for between 4 & 18 guests. . Let our bookings team help for bookings of 19+.
How Long Is A Curling Session?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get prepped. Safety and game briefings start at your scheduled time, so latecomers will miss out on the ice action! Your game lasts 45 minutes within the 60-minute slot, giving you enough time to slide in and out safely. Wear comfy clothes and flat shoes—we’ll provide the ice grippers! And yes, this is REAL ICE. ❄️

What Is The Age Limit For Kids?
For bookings, we class kids as aged 12 and under. 13+ should be booked as an Adult. You must be 18+ to make a booking. Kids parties are available for under 18s. The last under-18 entry is at 7 pm. QUEENS & MEATliquor are 18+ from 8 pm. The Liquor Lanes are 18+ only.

Logistics
How Do I Get To QUEENS?
We’re super close to Hyde Park, right by Queensway tube, 2 minutes from Bayswater tube, and 9 minutes from Notting Hill Gate tube.
Queensway Q-park is the nearest car park (it’s directly opposite us.) There is also on-street parking and an additional open-air car park to our rear. Check for any restrictions & tariffs when parking.
What are the prices?
Entry to QUEENS
£1 per person for non-diners, spectators, guardians, etc. Entry is 100% free when you join us for a meal or activity.
