Adult Packages T&Cs

CANCELLATION

  •  If you wish to cancel more than four weeks before your booking, we will happily refund your deposit minus a £100 cancellation fee. During our XXXMas period: We will happily refund 50% of your deposit and offer to transfer the remaining to another Date in January.
  • If you give us between two- and four-weeks’ notice of cancellation, we will retain 50% the deposit and cancel your booking. During our XXXMas period: Total balance is due 4 week prior on all XXXMas packages, we will retain 50% of your total booking and offer to move 50% to another date in January. No refunds will be given.
  • If you cancel within two weeks, we will cancel your booking, retain 100% of the deposit. You will be charged 50% of the remaining balance. During our XXXMas period: no refunds and no transfer. 100% of the booking is forfeited.

CHANGE OF DATE

  • If you request to postpone more than four weeks before your booking is due to take place, we will happily move the date with no extra charges, subject to the new booking date taking place within 30 days of your originally booked date. Should new date be more than the 30 days additional fees may apply.
  • If you request postponement between two- and four-weeks’ of the booking date, we will retain 50% of the pre-paid deposit and apply a £5 per person admin fee.
  • If you request postponement within the 2 week period running up to your event date, you will lose 100% of your pre-paid deposit and be charged £10 per person late change fee.
  • You will be asked to pay again to secure the new date.
  • Please note, a booking may be rescheduled no more than 2 times – after that the booking is forfeited
  • We cannot guarantee changes can be made to your booking.

AMENDS

  • Guest dropouts are expected within reason; however, we are unable to amend either food and/or activity orders once they are finalized.  (2 weeks prior)
  • Changes specifically to food pre-orders less than 2 weeks before your boking date, but more than 72 hours notice cannot be refunded, but may be transferred into drinks credits.
  • For guests that simply do not show. Food will still be served. No refunds or drinks credits will be given.
  • Our kitchen team run a 1000 capacity venue. We ask that you are mindful when making amends and try to coordinate them with the deadlines given to you from our bookings team. Failing to adhere to these deadlines may effect our flow of service. We will always do our best to accommodate your desires.

 

EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

QUEENS will not be held responsible for exceptional weather conditions, suspension of travel or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control; and no such circumstances will be considered grounds for cancellation or date change without charges.

If you have pre-ordered and pre-paid for food at your event and you either cancel or postpone, you will still be required to consume/collect the food items. Therefore if you wish to postpone your booking to next year only the Activity value (e.g: bowling/skating/curling) will be carried over to the new event date and your food value will be forfeited.

EVENTS BOOKING T&Cs

All event bookings are requested to sign a contract upon paying a deposit that is a % of the booking total. Below is an example.

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS:

  • A holding deposit amount, from £500 is required to take the availability offline whilst your contract is in process.
  • Upon receiving your signed contract + holding deposit, you then have 5 working days to complete the full deposit amount. This amount will be either the full balance of the activity and/or venue hire OR 50% off the total booking.
  • We will send you an email to confirm your event upon receipt of full deposit and a signed contract to accept these terms.
  • The remaining balance for your event (inclusive of all food and drink pre-orders, and service charge) is due two weeks prior to the event *Four weeks for a Full Venue Hire
  • Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date agreed may result in your event being cancelled.
  • If we, the venue cancels your event, we may, at our discretion, refund all or part of your deposit.

CANCELLATION:

  • If you wish to cancel more than four weeks before your event, we will happily refund your deposit minus a £500 cancellation fee.
  • If you give us between two- and four-weeks’ notice of cancellation, we will retain the deposit and cancel your event.
  • If you cancel with two weeks or less notice, we will cancel your booking, retain the deposit and charge you for the outstanding balance. This will be charged to the card used to secure the booking or invoice to your company, depending on the payment method you agree with us when you made the booking.

CHANGE OF DATE:

  • If you request to postpone more than four weeks before your event is taking place, we will happily move your booking with no extra charges subject to the new event date taking place within 30 days. Should the postponement date be more than 30 days additional fees may apply.
  • If you request postponement between two- and four-weeks’ of the event date, we will retain 50% of the pre paid deposit and apply a £250 admin fee.
  • If you request postponement within the 2 week period running up to your event date, you will lose 100% of your pre-paid deposit and charged £500 late change fee. You will and be asked to pay again to secure a new date.

  • We cannot always guarantee changes can be made to your booking.
  • Any amendments to your guest numbers and pre ordered items must be sent to your event organiser no later than 2 weeks prior your event date.
  • Guest drop outs are sometimes expected however we are unable to amend orders once they are finalised with the kitchen team 2 weeks prior.
  • Changes to pre-orders that are made with less than 2 weeks, but more than 72 hours notice cannot be refunded, but can be transferred into drinks credits.

AT THE EVENT:

  • Any unnecessary damage caused to the venue or equipment by your party will be charged for at cost price for the item and labour for any fittings.
  • Please note we currently charge £40 per pair of shoes and £60 per bowling ball that goes missing.
  • Any leftover balances from prepaid items (i.e. a bar tab), are non-refundable. We advise the full balance is spent during the event. What is pre order and pre-paid must be consumed at the event. Drinks can not be taken off site.

QUEENS COVID MEASURES:

The health and well-being of our Guests and Staff is our top priority and has guided many of our decisions during COVID times. We continue to carry out increased cleaning procedures that include overnight sterilisation of touch-point areas with medical grade UV-C lights and the use of increased cleaning crews, using high-quality, commercial, disinfectants designed to be effective against the COVID-19 virus. We also have free hand sanitiser stations throughout the venue. * Should any of your Event guests contract/contact Covid19 then please send evidence (e.g: a screen grab from the official NHS app) to state that they are self-isolating – We are happy to refund those guests their proportionate amount.

GENERAL BOOKINGS T&Cs

If you change your mind straight after making your booking, you have 60 mins to request a full refund or request changes.

  • If you give us more than 72 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we’ll gladly issue you a full refund, or the total-booking-value in vouchers / reschedule your booking.
  • If you give us more than 48 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we’ll gladly issue you the total-booking-value in vouchers / reschedule your booking.
  • If you give us less than 48 hours notice by email, before your booking start time, we will offer you a 50% refund or 50% value in vouchers. But cannot 'just' reschedule your booking.
  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice by email will result in a 100% forfeit of your booking. With no refund or rescheduling.
  • Please note, a booking may be rescheduled no more than 2 times – after that the booking is forfeited

Kids Party T&Cs

At QUEENS we love a birthday party, for big or little people! There are of course, a few, T&Cs:

  • The final balance is due 2 weeks prior to your booking.
  • All of our kid’s parties are required to pre order for all kids, regardless of the party size.
  • Your pre order is due no later than 2 weeks prior to your party date.
  • We understand that booking amendments may need to be made from time to time so you have up to 2 weeks prior to your booking to finalise your orders.
  • Amend requests made within 2 weeks of the party date are non-transferable.

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

  • Any changes to your booking must be made 2 weeks prior.
  • Changes to your booking cannot be made within 2 weeks of the party date.
  • Changes are subject to diner and lane availability.

NOTES

  • OVER 18s Policy: Every day, QUEENS & MEATliquor are an 18+ venue from 8pm. Last under 18 entry is at 7pm.
  • If you wish to cancel your booking, we require at least 2 weeks’ notice to acquire a full refund.
  • Cancellation requests made within the 2 weeks of the party are non-refundable but transferable to another date (within 1 month) subject to booking availability.
  • Cancellations requests made within 1 week of the party date are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All food and drinks are provided by MEATliquor.
  • All chicken we serve is Halal
  • Your children must be always supervised throughout the venue.
  • Your total party size must include all spectating guests - We ask for no more than x1 adult per x5 kids.

Vaping & Smoking & Candles

QUEENS has a no vaping and no smoking policy, throughout the venue.
Candles & sparklers are strictly forbidden. This includes atop of birthday cakes.

 

Arriving at QUEENS

ARRIVING

  • Check yourself before heading to QUEENS to ensure you do not have any COVID-like symptoms
  • Please have a copy of your booking confirmation displayable on your phone on arrival.
  • Quote the activity you have booked for and your full name to our Host.
  • Please ensure you arrive at the same time, to avoid delays or missing your start time.
  • Please don’t be late, you might miss your game / session.
  • Please follow the Hosts’ directions & keep an eye out for the floor markings & signage.
  • Guests booked in advance take priority to ensure a safe and controllable number of guests in the venue at all times. If you need to make changes to your party size please check with us in advance.
  • We’ve brought back the £1 Spectator charge for activity guests – please ensure you are booking for your total party size.
  • Please do not assume, we will have space for additional guests on the day – we may not.
  • OVER 18s: Every day, QUEENS & MEATliquor are an 18+ venue from 8pm. Last under 18 entry is at 7pm.

Accessibility Policy

  • Some of our activities, require a bolt-on purchase of a per person MEATliquor credit to use at MEATliquor Queenwsay, on the day of your booking.

Bowling Info

BOWLING INFO

  • We have added extra time to each bowling session to allow for our cleaning teams to do their work, your bowling time is the same as usual: 10 minutes per person. You may not continue your bowling into the cleaning time.
  • To minimise contact, the names you added into the guestlist section whilst booking will be the names we use on the bowling screen. If you need to make changes to these please contact us in advance to make the change for you, it may not be possible to change these solely upon arrival.
  • If booking 2 consecutive games, you will need to purchase MEATliquor tokens to redeem at QUEENS.

  • The rink will be periodically closed throughout the day to ensure the best skating surface & clean all touch-points for your safety. Guidance on timings is on the Ice Skating section of our website.

We’re right by Queensway tube, super close to Hyde Park.
Bayswater tube is a 2-minute walk away. Notting Hill Gate tube is just 9 minutes walk.

We don't have our own car-park but Q-Park is directly opposite us.
Plus there are various on-street parking spaces around us, and an additional open-air car park to our rear - but please check when parking for any restrictions & tarrifs.

Can I bring my dog

YES PLEASE DO! QUEENS & all MEATliquors are dog-friendly.
We only ask that you keep your furry friend near your person at all times.
If anyone is perturbed by your pet's presence then we ask that you make every effort to appease your fellow customer.
Management reserve the right to deny entry if your dog is inappropriately behaved & up to £500 fine may be levied if the dog soils the space.  

What size Ice Skates & Bowling Shoes do you have?

ICE SKATING: We have the 'classic' single blade from as small as size 4 (kids) to size 14 (adults)
We also have some strap-on double-blade skates for toddlers.

BOWLING: As long you are not wearing high-heels without their rubber 'heel tips' aka 'top peices' then you dont have to wear bowling shoes at QUEENS, but if you fancy going the whole hog, then we have shoes from Ladies size 4, all the way up to, Mens size 14.

Do you have skate-aid penguins

We have a hansom flock of penguins that are availabe for hire. They are for kids up to 1.4m tall. Hire is charged hourly at just £6.00. They cannot be booked in advance so when your here please make sure you look to p-p-p-pick up a pengiun as soon as you arrive.

how long does an ice skating session last?

Ice Skating sessions last at least 1 hour from your booking start time.  If your session is interrupted by the Zamboni, for essential ice surface maintenance, or for cleaning, then you can of course return to the ice after the short interruption.

Where necessary, QUEENS collects personal data from people in the normal course of its business. We capture Name, Email, Address and Telephone numbers in order to respond to queries and bookings and to promote our goods and services to you.

People we collect data from can include; customers, suppliers, employees, business contacts and others that we need to contact or have a relationship with.

3. Where we store your personal data

We have a strict information security programme that contains administrative, operational and technical controls that safeguard your data, including staff education and training, and proper access control. We use industry-standard encryption technology. We take steps to ensure this data is only accessed by employees and our web provider as absolutely necessary. We have the appropriate security measures in place to ensure a data breach does not occur.

When you complete forms on our website you are given options for whether or not you are happy to receive promotional content from us. We will only use your data as set out in this policy, which includes:

- Processing your booking (Our contractual responsibility)

5. 3rd Parties

Data captured on our website is not shared with any third party without your permission, other than contracted data processors, such as our marketing/web agency, print companies and/or mailing houses in order to carry out marketing communications, IT and other service providers (such as credit card processing), professional advisers such as our accountants and regulatory bodies as legally required. 

In the course of managing your booking we may also share your data with our coaches (as per your booking) and Meat Liquor, if you require a booking with them while at our venue. They will communicate with you in regards to your booking and may send you marketing communications from time to time, as you will be a customer of theirs. You should check their privacy policies for more information about how they handle your data.

6. Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track website usage. However, this information is anonymous and cannot be used to track individuals.

7. Data Retention & Disclosure

We keep data records for as long as is necessary for business purposes (i.e. to process your booking, to do analysis of our Queens customer base and to marketing our goods and services to you if you (1) are a customer of Queens and/or (2) have consented to this and (3) to fulfil our legal obligations), or until asked to delete it by the individual.

If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreement or to protect the rights, property or safety of Queens or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

8. Amendments

We may update this policy from time to time, any significant changes will be communicated directly, however, please check this page from time to time to ensure you’re happy with any changes.

9. Children’s Data

We do not take bookings from people under 18, however, it may be necessary to capture names and dates of birth for people under 18 in order to process the booking. This data will be passed to the coaches who train their customers at our location, but will not be used for any other purpose.

10. Internal data processing

Your data is not shared outside of the EU, except for use on our email marketing platform, which may have servers stored in the US. Queens will conduct appropriate due diligence to ensure that these such providers are compliant with EU Data Protection Laws

11. Your rights

If you require access to the information we hold on you, a correction to the information we hold on you, require us to delete the information, or if you have any other questions about how we manage your data, please email dan@queens.london.
